I am awakened, Long had I slept while chaos had reigned
I have watched while this virus has spread
Little is left untouched, almost nothing left pure
The filth spread like an infection, but now it must be purged

Man was given dominion, master of all
Everything has turned to ruin, all is left to rot
The land left scarred by war, the fields left interfile by greed
The waters now poisoned, the air carries disease

They give no reverence for the earth, nor the value of life
They destroy themselves for control of the meek
A roiling malady, unable to align and evolve
They lust for extinction while they feed on the strife

They were given the earth, chosen to be stewards
How quickly the system collapsed and disorder ensued
They were given their chance to rule as guardians
This plague must be cleansed, I must start anew
